Garden Bridge Trust - still trying to rob us of millions for winding up costs

Today, the Garden Bridge 'Trust' (GBT) published its accounts for Companies House which reveal that they are asking for £5.1m in order to pay off their donors! Our chairman Michael Ball has this to say:
"Londoners have lost £43m as a result of Boris backing this ill-conceived fancy. Now private millionaires and crony corporations - who had egged the project on with promises of donations - want back even the little money they put in. And they want Londoners to pay them. Sorry, you don't get a refund on donations. If they weren't in fact donations, the GBT have other questions to answer.
But the real question is - how the hell did the GBT manage to spend so many millions and have nothing meaningful to show for it? How much did the originator of this wheeze, Heatherwick, actually make from it all? Many many millions. And still they want more? No.
How about holding some of these people personally liable for this mess? We could start with Boris Johnson. He could wipe out the GBT debt at a stroke by donating the fees he gets for his Telegraph column."
